Advisory Committee on Continuing Training The joint BZÄK-DGZMK Advisory Committee on Continuing Training, on which the KZBV [National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists] is represented, draws up general schemata on continuing training, including an outline agreement on structured continuing training, a model voluntary document for recording details of continuing training, basic principles of continuing training for dentists, and a general schema for a modular system of continuing and postgraduate training in the dental field. Continuing training is the principal structural component of a quality assurance system that takes account of all relevant contextual parameters and not just of results. Outline plans for continuing training – e.g. a framework agreement on structured continuing training and an outline plan for the submission of voluntary evidence of continuing training – are being drawn up by the zzq for its parent organizations. The zzq works closely together with the Joint Advisory Committee on Continuing Training of the DGZMK (German Society of Dento-Maxillo-Facial Sciences) and the BZÄK (German Dental Association), of which the KZBV (National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists) is a member. |
